Here Are the Shiny Forms of All the New Pokemon Scarlet and Violet DLC Pokemon

Eight new Pokemon are added to Pokemon Scarlet and Violet in The Teal Mask DLC, which means the possibility of eight new Shiny forms. Unfortunately, five Pokemon out of the eight new additions are Shiny-locked, meaning they don’t exist in the Gen 9 RPG yet. Here are all the Shiny forms that you can get your hands on.

All new Shiny forms you can get in the Pokemon Scarlet and Violet The Teal Mask DLC

The eight new Pokemon added in The Teal Mask DLC are Dipplin, Poltchageist, Sinistcha, Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Ogerpon, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti. Out of these, only the following are NOT Shiny-locked:

  • Dipplin.
  • Poltchageist.
  • Sinistcha.

If you want the Shiny versions of Bloodmoon Ursaluna, Ogerpon, Okidogi, Munkidori, and Fezandipiti in The Teal Mask, you’ll unfortunately have to wait until The Pokemon Company makes them accessible. For now, they are impossible to get legally.

How to get Shiny Dipplin in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Dipplin evolves from Applin, which means that the best way to get a Shiny Dipplin is to evolve a Shiny Applin. This is done via the Syrupy Apple item in The Teal Mask, which is obtained from an unmanned stall in the Mossfell Confluence area of the Kitakami map.

Once you have the evolution item, simply use it on a Shiny Applin, and it will evolve into Shiny Dipplin. If you don’t have a Shiny Applin, the best way to get one is via an Applin Mass Outbreak in the Paldea region. Make sure you eat a sandwich with Sparkling Power Level 3!

How to get Shiny Poltchageist and Shiny Sinistcha

To get Shiny Poltchageist, unless you’re really lucky, you’re going to have to farm a Poltchageist Mass Outbreak on the Kitakami map. Look for dark green on its porcelain instead of black. You’ll need a Shiny Poltchageist to get Shiny Sinistcha because Sinistcha doesn’t spawn in the wild.

Once you have a Shiny Poltchageist, you need either the Unremarkable Teacup or Masterpiece Teacup, depending on whether your Poltchageist is Counterfeit or Artisan form. Use the evolution item on the Shiny Poltchageist to get Shiny Sinistcha.

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet and The Teal Mask DLC are available now on the Nintendo Switch.
