Here’s a list of the next five Pokemon types, partners, and artists that contributed designs to the project this week:

  • Flying: Altaria (art by kannnu)
  • Ground: Flygon (art by kannnu)
  • Ice: Lapras (art by Kantaro)
  • Normal: Chatot (art by Megumi Mizutani)
  • Rock: Aurorus (art by Megumi Mizutani)

Each chosen partner Pokemon relates to Hatsune Miku’s image in some way. The character sheets shown alongside the official illustrations provide some insight into how Miku and her Pokemon might interact with each other if they were part of the same universe. Some of them even include an entire team of the hypothetical partner Pokemon for Miku per the specific type.

You can view the new designs and character sheets in the gallery below:

There are 8 Project Voltage designs left to look forward to. After that, the 18 music videos will be released sequentially beginning on September 29, 2023. Each song will be created by a different Vocaloid producer. They will feature sound samples and background music from the Pokemon series. The producers making each song will be announced as the music videos are released.

Project Voltage will continue throughout Fall 2023.
