Crunchyroll announced that people worldwide will get to see the My Hero Academia season 6 “UA Heroes Battle” original episode at NYCC 2023. It will debut at 5pm ET on October 13, 2023 at the event. This will also be the English dub of the episode, and not the original Japanese with English subtitles. The company also shared the key art for the presentation.
Crunchyroll noted that people attending NYC 2023 can watch “UA Heroes Battle” at the Empire Stage. This screening will happen before the Japanese one. People who stop by to watch the show get My Hero Academia Collectible Card Game cards to tie in with the event. Following this showing, the episode will eventually appear on Crunchyroll proper. However, the company didn’t note an air date for it on the service yet.
