What Are the Best Reactors in Starfield

Your ship is a home away from home in Starfield, which makes you need the best reactors to get the most out of it. The reactor is by far the most important part of your ship. With the right one, you’ll be able to improve the overall speed, health (hull), and utility of your ship.

Here are the best ship reactors in this game, divided up by ship classes. You can get all of these by having the right ship license and heading to the nearest ship technician in any major city or space station.

Best Starfield Reactors for Class A Ships

For those players with the initial ship class in Starfield, there are a few reactors to choose from. Since this is the most common ship type in the game, I have a couple of options for you to choose from. The first is the Spheromak DC202 Reactor. Here are its stats:

The other A-class ship reactor I recommend is the Tokamak X-300 Reactor if you want a bit more defense.

If you upgrade your Piloting skill in the game to the third rank, you’ll be able to pilot B-class ships. The best overall reactor for this particular class is the immensely powerful 104DS Mag Inertial Reactor. Here are the stats you’ll find on it:

Best Starfield Reactor for C-Class Ships

Finally, there is the C-class of ships. You need Piloting rank four to unlock these but if you can afford them, the best reactor you can get for this group and the overall best reactor in the game is the Pinch 8Z Reactor.
