Where Is Blueberry Academy in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet?

For starters, the first DLC for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, The Teal Mask, revealed the location of Blueberry Academy. It is in the Unova region, which was the setting for the Generation 5 games. This connection is quite interesting, especially since there are other possible connections to Unova there.

Blueberry Academy is the setting players will visit during The Indigo Disk, Part 2 of The Hidden Treasure of Area Zero DLC. It is home to a massive school that is partially underwater, some shops to buy stuff, and even places where you can catch wild Pokemon.

Who Are Some Blueberry Academy Characters?

There are many students at Blueberry Academy for players to meet. Some of the most important ones we know about so far include:

  • Amarys: An Elite Four member.
  • Briar: She is a professor at the school. She is in the first DLC as well, facilitating the school trip to Kitakami, and a descendant of Heath of Area Zero fame.
  • Carmine: One of the rivals you meet in Kitakami. Her ace is Sinistcha and she is the older sister of Kieran.
  • Chrono: Director of Blueberry Academy.
  • Crispin: An Elite Four member.
  • Draynor: An Elite Four member and potential further connection to Generation 5.
  • Kieran: One of the rivals you meet in Kitakami and a student at Blueberry Academy. He uses a Dipplin as his ace and is the younger brother of Carmine.
  • Lacey: An Elite Four member.

You may have noticed the Elite Four members mentioned above. The crux of the Blueberry Academy storyline sees you venture to this oceanic school as an exchange student. You are there to learn at the school and battle the Elite Four who dominate as the most powerful trainers in The Indigo Disk.

What Does Blueberry Academy Look Like?

The layout of Blueberry Academy is quite interesting. While most of it contains classes and the like, the most unique feature of the academy is the Terarium. This artificial underwater land features four key biomes with various wild Pokemon for you to catch, including ones from other regions.
