How to Change Pronouns in Starfield

Starfield is a game meant to be about player freedom. This is why you are able to pick and change your pronouns. When you first boot up the game, you’ll have the character creator screen after a short introduction. One of the many options you can change are your pronouns in Starfield.

Which Pronouns Can You Choose in Starfield

There are three pronoun options, which are as follows:

  • He/Him
  • She/Her
  • They/Them

You can pick any of those three while you’re creating your character at the start of the game. But that only has to do with when you create your character at the beginning. What about if you want to change your pronouns later down the road? Well, in Starfield you can do that.

Can You Change Your Pronouns in Starfield?

Fortunately, yes, you can change your pronouns in Starfield even long after creating your character. To do this, head to the Enhance store in any of the major cities, such as New Atlantis. When you visit this store, you are able to customize your character’s general appearance, such as hairstyle, hair color, and other details.

This even includes your pronouns, which you can change at any point here. The options are the same as before, but you are free to experiment and be fluid if you like. Perhaps you want to try out certain pronouns when you first start the game, but then try out some other ones many hours in; either way is totally fine, since Bethesda is great enough to offer this option.

Starfield is available for the Xbox Series X and PC.
