Pokemon Quagsire and Clodsire Appear on Milcrea Ice Cream Boxes

A new collaboration between The Pokemon Company and Akagi Nyugyo will feature the Pokemon Quagsire and Clodsire on Milcrea ice cream packages in Japan. The two will appear on the packages of chocolate and Uji green tea flavors of Milcrea. Wooper and Paldean Wooper will also be featured. The event includes a campaign to win a blanket with designs based on Quagsire and Clodsire. [Thanks, DenFamiNico Gamer!]

Milcrea is a brand of ice cream known for the elastic and stretchy qualities of its milk fillings. The collaboration starts on August 28, 2023. Both chocolate and Uji green tea flavors of Milcrea cost ¥410 yen (or about $2.80). The blanket campaign includes two different designs based on newly created illustrations of Quagsire and Clodsire.

The blankets are 1.3 meters wide and 1 meter long (or about 4.3 feet wide and 3.3 feet long). There will be three rounds to obtain the blankets, and 1,000 will be available. Application tickets will be included with the packages.

Quagsire is a dual Water/Ground type Pokemon that was introduced with Generation 2 in the Pokemon Gold, Silver, and Crystal games. Meanwhile, Clodsire has the Poison/Ground dual type, and is the evolution of Paldean Wooper. Both Clodsire and Paldean Wooper first appeared in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, the latest titles in the series.
