Bungie is set to unveil its new The Final Shape expansion at the Destiny 2 Showcase on August 22, 2023. The special livestream will reveal major details about the final chapter of The Light and Darkness Saga, including new features and modes the update will add to the game. The event will also feature Season 22 details, including the announcement of a returning Raid.
The annual Destiny 2 showcase will kick off with a pre-show on Tuesday, August 22, at 8 AM PT, with the main showcase starting at 9 AM PT. Viewers who stick around after the stream will be able to watch a special roundtable hosted by the Destiny 2 team. The post-show discussion will feature Bungie developers, who will address the type of content that players can expect to see in Destiny 2 Season 22 and the rest of 2023.

Bungie is also teaming up with Twitch for this Destiny 2 presentation. Those who watch the show for at least 30 minutes will be gifted an exclusive Emblem that they can equip in-game.
The new The Final Shape expansion is a big deal for the Destiny 2 community. It will serve as the final chapter to The Light and Darkness Saga storyline, which has been running since 2014.
