The Southeast Asia Bandai Namco Twitter account shared two Armored Core VI screenshots showing off Image Editor and Paint customization options in-game. The Image Editor one shows how someone could use to create designs to customize their Armored Cores. The Paint one shows some of the different options for changing the look of a unit.
First, here’s the Armored Core VI Image Editor screenshot. It shows that there will be different image options in-game, as well as layering options, to design emblems and other designs. You can choose positioning and arrange them on a grid for a final “sticker” of sorts. In this case, two dragons, two swords, a banner, a helmet, a shield, and a decorative emblem are combined into a coat of arms.
As for the Armored Core VI Paint section screenshot, it focuses on the Weathering area. It shows 23 different effects that can be applied to the Entire Frame of the unit. On the right, the game will show how the Armored Core looks with that effect applied.
Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon will come to the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, Xbox One, and PC on August 25, 2023. There will be standard, collector’s, and premium editions of the game available.
