Princess Maker 2 Regeneration Heading to Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC

Bliss Brain announced that Princess Maker 2 Regeneration is coming out on the Nintendo Switch, PS5, PS4, and PC via Steam on December 21, 2023. The game will be an enhanced port of Princess Maker 2 Refine. This new version will have improved and redrawn sprites and graphics, designed by artist Takami Akai, as well as higher resolution options. The game will be available in English, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (Traditional and Simple). [Thanks, 4Gamer!]

The game will also include a new opening movie created by Yonago Gainax. This new release of Princess Maker 2 is celebrating the 30th anniversary of the release of the original game, which came out for PC-98 on 1993. The enhanced port is based on Princess Maker 2 Refine, which came out on 2004, and later received a PC port on September 28, 2016.

The original Princess Maker 2 is a child-rearing life simulation in which the player acts the role of father to a daughter granted to them by the stars. The player experiences raising the girl for eight years, from ages 10 to 18. The objective of the game is to help the girl fulfill her dream of becoming a princess, but depending on player choices, the her dream might change.

The last Princess Maker project to appear was an HD remake of Princess Maker 3: Fairy Tales Come True that released for the Nintendo Switch and PC on December 23, 2019.
