Preregistrations are open for the English version of Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage, with a campaign promising premium currency and a free UR Gundam if it reaches 100,000 users. There is no release date for the game currently listed, however there is a trailer available on Youtube.
Originally releasing in Japan back in 2021, Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage is a 3D battler pitching squads of 6 mobile suits each against each other. The game boasts over 200 mobile suits to collect, as well as original story events and new animations. While the game will be free-to-play, there will be microtransactions offered and new suits will be obtained through a gacha system. The game focuses on the Universal Century timeline in the Gundam universe, which includes series like Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam, Mobile Suit Gundam ZZ, Mobile Suit Gundam: The 08th MS Team, and Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin.
In July 2023, it was announced that console game Gundam Evolution would shut down in November, while Bandai Namco released an apology regarding recently finished Gundam series The Witch from Mercury. A second trailer for the upcoming Gundam Seed Freedom movie also appeared.
Preregistrations are currently open for Mobile Suit Gundam: UC Engage on the Apple or Google play stores. A release date has not yet been revealed, however.
