How to Survive Simulated Universe World 7 in Honkai: Star Rail

With the launch of Version 1.2 of Honkai: Star Rail, Simulated Universe level World 7 is available for people to explore. This universe, like the previous one, combines maps from both Jarilo-VI and the Xianzhou Luofu. It also isn’t too difficult to survive this latest update to the roguelike mode.

How to get through Honkai: Star Rail Simulated Universe World 7

Now, obviously these are not the only ways to beat Simulated Universe 7 or any of the other Simulated Universes. Some people may prefer certain Paths than others. Others might not have certain characters built. Thanks to the various buffs you can give your characters in Simulated Universe, you can even get away with bringing underleveled or unbuilt characters, and have them stand a reasonable chance against the enemies.

At the end, you’ll face the Abundant Ebon Deer. This one is a guaranteed battle, so you should adjust your party in preparation of this confrontation.

What characters should you bring into Simulated Universe World 7?

  • Blade
Blade is an amazing AoE DPS whose follow-up attack can deal loads of damage even with the Abundant Ebon Deer’s Wnd RES. His follow-up attack will activate often because of the various DoTs that the Twigs will place on your party, and he can easily regain all of his stacks when the Twigs counter him.
  • Luocha
Luocha is great in general at keeping your party alive. The Abundant Ebon Deer and its Twigs can easily and very quickly whittle down your HP, so someone like Luocha who can provide consistent healing, as well as remove enemy buffs and ally debuffs, is fantastic.
  • Qingque
If you don’t have Seele, Qingque is a pretty good Quantum character to bring. The Abundant Ebon Deer and the Twigs are weak to Quantum, and Qingque can attack more than one enemy at once if she matches her tiles. This makes her good at clearing out multiple Twigs in a single attack.
  • Seele
Everyone in the final fight against the Abundant Ebon Deer is weak to Quantum, and if you one-shot a Twig with Seele, you can guarantee an extra turn to attack the Deer itself. Even though Seele is a single-target DPS going up against a horde of enemies, you can utilize her kit to maximize how much destruction she causes.
  • Yanqing
Yanqing is the only single-target Ice DPS character as of the time of writing, and so he’s a great character to bring to hard focus on the Abundant Ebon Deer. If you want to use Yanqing, you should bring Remembrance so lower its Freeze RES.

Which Path should you choose?

  • Remembrance
Freezing the Abundant Ebon Deer is one of the easiest ways to deal with it. If you have an Ice character like Yanqing, then you can lower the Abundant Ebon Deer’s Ice RES to guarantee a Freeze. This Path can also Freeze enemies even without an Ice character so if you don’t think you can keep up with healing or shields, you should go for this one.
  • The Hunt
The Hunt is actually the best Path to use because of how it can deal loads of damage against the Abundant Ebon Deer, as well as easily take out the Twigs that it can summon. If you’re familiar at all with the overall lore surrounding The Hunt and Abundance, this is not a surprise.
  • Nihility
Nihility is great for dealing tons of damage as well, especially in fights that will drag on. And trust me, the battle against the Abundant Ebon Deer will drag on.

What Planar Ornaments will you get in Simulated Universe World 7?

  • Rutilant Arena
Increases wearer’s Crit Rate by 8%. When the wearer’s current Crit Rate reaches 70% or higher, the wearer’s Basic ATK and Skill DMG increase by 20%.
  • Broken Keel
Increases the wearer’s Effect RES by 10%. When the wearer’s Effect RES is at 30% or higher, all allies’ CRIT DMG increases by 10%.
