How to Raise Your Equilibrium in Honkai: Star Rail

As you level up in Honkai: Star Rail, you’ll need to raise your Equilibrium level. Not only will you get better drops in places like Calyxes or Caverns of Corrosion, but the enemies will provide more of a challenge too. It’s essentially a way of raising the difficulty of the game as you build and raise your characters.

How to raise your Equilibrium in Honkai: Star Rail

In order to raise your Equilibrium level, you have to hit certain Trailblazer Levels. At Levels 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 65, the game will present to you a Trial of Equilibrium. Trials of Equilibrium are similar to levels in Forgotten Hall, where you must defeat a set of enemies. After you do so, you will exit the instance and be at a higher Equilibrium Level. Right now, the max Trailblazer Level is 70, and the highest Equilibrium Level is 6.

A higher Equilibrium does not add new moves or change the enemies’ AI unless we’re talking about higher difficulties in places like Simulated Universe. Generally speaking, it simply raises the enemies’ stats, letting them take and deal more damage. If you’re still in the process of raising your characters, you can totally skip raising your Equilibrium level until you’re ready.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on mobile devices and Windows PC. PS4 and PS5 versions are in development.
