Production on a second cour of the NieR Automata Ver1.1a anime started. The reveal came through the official NieR Automata anime Twitter account, and it was accompanied by a teaser trailer for the new episodes of the show. As a reminder, the trailer might include spoilers for both the anime series and the video game.
The trailer lasts 43 seconds, and it opens with a speech by the YoRHa Commander encouraging the troops ahead of a final offensive against the machine lifeforms. The speech is intertwined with previously unseen scenes of 2B, 9S, and A2 alongside other androids and machine lifeforms.

With the success of this operation, we will end this war here and now.
Glory to mankind!”
