How to Get All of Yakou’s Memory Shards in Rain Code

In Master Detective Archives: Rain Code, you can get Memory Shards to unlock Gumshoe Gabs for everyone. These Gumshoe Gabs will let you see a conversation between a Yuma and one of his colleagues at the detective agency. However, since they’re scattered all around the map, it might take some time to collect them all and uncover everyone’s secrets. Here’s where you can get all the Memory Shards for Yakou in Rain Code.

You can check out hints for where to find the Memory Shards from the character’s Gumshoe Gabs page. As well, if you miss one, you can either go back in a later Chapter or, for some of them, you can restart a Chapter after completing it.

  • First Step
You literally can’t miss this. After you leave the submarine at the start of Chapter One, Shinigami calls your attention to it at the Riverbank.
  • The Iron Coffin Bed
This Memory Shard is available as early as in Chapter One. It’s in the back of Kanai Train Station, right by the gates.
  • Storage in the Underground World
This Memory Shard is available as early as in Chapter One. You can find it near one of the entrances of the underground area in Kamasaki District.
  • Find the Secret of the Toys
This Memory Shard is available in Chapter Four. You can only get it in the secret lab. It’s available in a room on the left side of the map, and you’ll know which room it is because a scientist will ask you to give him some time to think. While he’s thinking, you can explore the room. The Memory Shard is on a table near the wall.
  • Princess Kaguya in the Bamboo Grove
This Memory shard is available in Chapter Five. It’s to the left of the bathhouse. You have to grab it before you go inside because the game will keep on going and you won’t really get the chance to pick it up unless you start the chapter again.

Master Detective Archives: Rain Code is readily available on the Nintendo Switch.
