Star Ocean The Second Story R Teaser Trailer Focuses on Ashton

Yet another Star Ocean The Second Story R teaser trailer is here, and this time Ashton Anchors is the star. As such, it also focuses on Creepy and Weepy, the two-headed dragon he merges with early in the story. The footage briefly shows two story segments, then features Ashton in battle. It follows a closer peek at his character sprite and portrait art.

The video begins with Ashton telling other Star Ocean The Second Story R characters that he’s going to get rid of Creepy and Weepy. After that is a flashback to when he met Claude and Rena and fused with them.
The second part of the trailer focuses on him fighting in battle First, he uses the Swords Dance attack. Then, Creepy and Weepy use Dragon Breath. It closes out with him using the Tri-Ace attack with both dragon heads.

This is the second recent video to look more closely at a member of the cast. We got to see one that starred Celine earlier this week.

Star Ocean: The Second Story R will come to the Switch, PS4, PS5, and PC on November 2, 2023. The game can also immediately be found on the PlayStation and PSP worldwide and the PS3, PS4, and Vita in Japan.
