Where to Farm Gridanian Walnuts in FFXIV

If you’re trying to level up your Culinarian in FFXIV, Gridanian Walnuts are a good choice to help you reach the level cap. Here’s where to farm them.

Where can I get Gridanian Walnuts in FFXIV?

While you can take the easy route and purchase Gridanian Walnuts from the Market Board in FFXIV, it’s free if you have a level 21 Botanist. I recommend going that way if you can.

Equip your Botanist class and head to Quarrymill in South Shroud. Just west of the settlement, you’ll see yellow feathers on your minimap. These indicate level 25 Mature Trees. The rough coordinates are x23, y21.

Approach a level 25 Mature Tree and use your hatchet on it within the Logging menu to receive a Gridanian Walnut. To farm them, simply run around to every level 25 Mature Tree around the area and choose ‘Gridanian Walnut’ from the Logging menu. Keep an eye on the yellow feathers on your minimap as they move positions each time you deplete a gathering spot.

Gridanian Walnuts are used in the following Culinarian recipes in FFXIV:

• Walnut Bread: level 18 recipe.
• Baklava: level 61 recipe.
• Rarefied Baklava: level 62 recipe.
• Nut Bake: level 75 recipe.
