How to Get a Leather Eyepatch in Final Fantasy XIV

Glamour is a popular aspect of Final Fantasy XIV, and the Leather Eyepatch is just one of thousands of appearance options. Here’s where to get your hands on it in FFXIV.

How do I get a Leather Eyepatch in FFXIV?

Regardless of whether you want it for Glamour or to complete this week’s Fashion Report, the Leather Eyepatch is a simple item to get ahold of. The easiest way is to purchase it from a vendor for 141 Gil. You can buy it on the Market Board, but you’ll most likely spend more this way, so I wouldn’t recommend it.

Many NPC vendors sell the Leather Eyepatch in FFXIV. I’d recommend one of the following based on ease of access:

• Iron Thunder: Limsa Lominsa Lower Decks (x8.1, y11.6).
• Domitien: Old Gridania (x14.3, y9.8).
• Gwalter: Ul’dah – Steps of Thal (x13.6 y10.0).

If you’d prefer to craft a Leather Eyepatch, you can do so with a Leatherworker class. It’s a level four recipe and requires the following materials:

• 1 Leather.
• 1 Animal Sinew.
• 1 Hempen Yarn.
• 1 Wind Shard.
• 1 Earth Shard.

You must be a Disciple of War class and not a Disciple of the Land or Hand to equip the Leather Eyepatch. It is a level five item, meaning you’ll want to Glamour it if you want to make it part of your everyday appearance as you level up.
