Glyphs are essential to end game builds in Diablo IV, however players can only obtain them once they have progressed far enough into the game. This is due to the fact that obtaining Glyphs are locked behind Diablo IV‘s World Tiers. Firstly, in order to obtain Glyphs players must have unlocked the Nightmare or Torment World Tier, which is gated by level progression. Players must be at least level 50 in order to unlock the Nightmare World Tier difficulty.
From there, Nightmare Dungeons will become available. This is the best way to obtain Glyphs. However, Nightmare Dungeons also require Nightmare Sigils to access them in the first place. Thankfully, players can begin to craft Nightmare Sigils after obtaining one as a drop. The best way to obtain a Nightmare Sigil is to complete Whispering Tree objectives, as Sigils will drop from the caches they provide.
Upon obtaining a Nightmare Sigil, players can then tackle Nightmare Dungeons to unlock Glyphs. This is the best way to farm Glyphs since Elite enemies have a high chance of dropping them, along with bosses in Nightmare Dungeons. Glyphs are specifically used to unlock slots in your Paragon board, which is what the end game of Diablo IV will have you busy with for the most part. Outside of obtaining Unique Items, of course.
Diablo IV is available on the PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
