Unique items in Diablo IV are essential for any endgame build. Not only do they apply unique properties to your abilities, but these are permanent effects that will remain on your character until you remove or replace the item. These can range from a multitude of different effects depending on the Unique item. All of which will be necessary to tackle the harder difficulties in the game.

How do you obtain Unique items in Diablo IV?

Unique items in Diablo IV can only be found in Nightmare Dungeons and by doing Helltides. These items are essential to most end game builds and, as expected, have unique properties. For example, the Druid Unique Armor Mad Wolf’s Glee will allow you to permanently sustain your Werewolf form. This means that players will always be in Werewolf form, regardless of what skills they are using. Additionally, the Condemnation Unique Weapon for Rogue works in tandem with one of the class’s Specializations.

These items greatly enhance your damage potential, and are needed for World Tier IV if you want to stand a chance against its most challenging bosses. World Tier IV is also where players can start getting Ancestral Unique items as drops. These are, by far, the best items in the game, and you will more than likely dedicate some time to get best in slot Ancestral Unique items for your build. But getting the normal Uniques in Diablo IV is where you’re going to want to start.
