Where to Find Notorious Mark Aruna in Final Fantasy XVI

Sometimes in Final Fantasy XVI, the locations of Notorious Mark monsters can be rather vague. You might only get a general idea of where they might be, for example “west gate,” but not told the exact map or spot. This means you, well, might happen upon them in the wild while taking part in other quests before you actually see them on Nektar’s Hunt Board. This is how I happened upon the Mark Aruna in Final Fantasy XVI.

How to find Aruna the Notorious Mark in Final Fantasy XVI.

So for the “Blacksmith’s Blues” quest, it mentioned finding Dozmare the griffin at a gate in Sanbreque. So I went to Caer Norvent Glorieuse Gate from the main menu’s world map. Since I mistook which gate to go to, I headed north to Claireview. Aruna the C-Rank Notorious Mark is right there in Final Fantasy XVI.

You can see the location on the Sanbreque map screenshot I took below:

Remember Garuda’s “sisters” back when you faced Benedikta earlier in the game? Aruna is one of those wind-type enemies who spends a lot of time both in the air and on the ground. This also means that there will be a lot of strong gusts of winds and tornado activity. I recommend having an Eikon who can attack from a distance on hand, like Ramuh. Winning gets you 6,200 gil and 10 renown.

Final Fantasy XVI is available for the PlayStation 5. There is a six-month exclusivity period.
