How can I get the Fierce Deity Boots in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom?

The Fierce Deity Boots are hidden in the Ancient Tree Stump north of Mount Daphnes in Hyrule Field at map coordinates -1130, -0431, -0002. When you get there, you’ll spot a large hole in the center of the tree stump. Descend into it using your Paraglider to reach the Ancient Tree Stump Cave.

Land in the water at the bottom, then cut the vines that block the way to the south. Continue on to reach a large tree trunk. Climb it to reach a small dirt platform. Alight here if you need to recover Stamina, then jump onto the tree trunk again and climb up further.

There will be another platform here to the left where you can recover Stamina if needed. Keep climbing up to eventually reach a room with several tree roots growing through the floor and ceiling. Look forward to another doorway blocked by vines. Cut them down.

Walk forward to a shrine of sorts, and you’ll see a chest on it. Open it to receive the Fierce Deity Boots in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom.

Can I scan an amiibo to get the Fierce Deity Boots in Tears of the Kingdom?

Yes! If you own the Majora’s Mask Link amiibo, you can scan it for a chance to receive the Fierce Deity Boots in The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom. You can also get the Fierce Deity Mask and Armor this way. It isn’t guaranteed though, so you may have to scan it more than once to get the reward.

Note that you can only scan the amiibo once per day, so it may take a while until you’ve finally got the boots in hand. I admittedly got my boots this way, then went and found the second pair in the Ancient Tree Stump Cave for completion’s sake.

The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom is available now exclusively on Nintendo Switch.
