Sonic the Hedgehog Tails Nendoroid Includes Customizable Expressions

A Nendoroid of Tails from the Sonic the Hedgehog series is open for pre-orders via Good Smile Company. There are multiple eye, mouth, and optional parts for you to pose him around displays as you like. The Tails Nendoroid is available to pre-order until July 6, 2023. He’ll arrive in Japan before 2023 ends, but won’t come to North America until next year.

Normally, Nendoroids have face plates that you can snap on or off to change a character’s look. But with the Tails Nendoroid, there is a further level of customization. Because you can mix and match his eye parts and mouth parts, you can make the expression you want him to have versus choosing from plates that come in the box. You can make him look to the right or left, or just have a generic happy expression with his eyes. His mouth parts are a closed-mouth smile and an open-mouthed smile. As for optional parts, he comes with googles, a wrench, and a Chaos Emerald.

He costs 6,900 JPY, or $49.99. Those who purchase him via the Good Smile Company website in Japan can expect to see him in December 2023. Meanwhile, those in North America will get him in Q1 2024.
