Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone took to Twitter to share hand-drawn concept art of the Stardew Valley Community Center. The early image is from a journal and is drawn in pen. It focuses entirely on the Junimo, the spirits who appear in the center, and assist the player.
Here’s the official image. The text not only shows them, but what looks like an early Junimo hut. The text reads, “What do they do with the bundles? Maybe return them to their proper place for you or bring them to their hits. Then when you’ve completed a broad-goal, they bring out a glowing star and add it to the plaque.” There’s also an early description for them that says, “Nature spirits who took the C.C. as their home after it got abandoned. They leave after its complete.”

In Stardew Valley, the Community Center is a driving force. People either visit it or the JojaMart Warehouse to complete objectives and earn rewards that alter the appearance of the world and grant rewards. For example, if you manage to get all of the 28 items for the various bundles in the center’s Crafts Room, you can get access to the game’s Quarry.
As a reminder, more Stardew Valley is on the way. Concerned Ape confirmed a 1.6 patch is in development. It will feature both more modding support and additional content.
Stardew Valley is available for the Nintendo Switch, PS4, Xbox One, PCs, mobile devices, and the PlayStation Vita, and the 1.6 update is in development.
