Square Enix is planning another way to call attention to Final Fantasy XVI. The company announced an in-person event. On June 11, 2023, it will hold a pre-launch celebration in Los Angeles. It didn’t explain exactly where it will be held and how people will be able to attend. However, it did confirm that people who aren’t able to get to California will be able to watch it online, as it will stream the event when it begins at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm CET.
Here’s the official announcement. It noted that additional details about the event will come up via methods like the Twitter account closer to the date.

This comes right as two other streams for the game appeared. Square Enix offered an extended look at the new Final Fantasy game at PAX East 2023. It streamed it live, then also shared footage of it after the fact. That was followed by an April 2023 State of Play focused on the title. That offered an array of new footage of Clive fighting and exploring the world.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available for the PS5 on June 22, 2023. There is a six-month exclusivity arrangement in place. The pre-launch celebration event will be held in Los Angeles, California on June 11, 2023 at 3pm PT/6pm ET/11pm CET and streamed online.
