Production Kawaii announced it is taking legal action against people who harassed and invaded the privacy of VTuber Isla Coleman. CEO Kyosuke Kinoshita shared a statement condemning the behaviors. Kinoshita noted that “criminal and civil legal actions” are being pursued against the people who targeted the performer by attempting to dox her. The announcement also noted that she may graduate as a result of the offenders’ actions.
Isla Coleman debuted back in April 2021 and is a first generation Production Kawaii VTuber. In addition to streaming games, she’s also known for singing and performing. The official statement noted the harassment consisted of doxing, with unnamed individuals attempting to share her actual identity and address. Kinoshita’s announcement stated that “criminal and civil legal actions” are being pursued and she may graduate if the company “cannot ensure her safety and security.”

Isla Coleman also issued a statement on TwitLonger about what’s happening. She noted, “As a creator, I’m entitled to my personal life and there are things that I am not obligated to share while I am in Kawaii. I’m very disappointed that these “Coleknights”, whose names and contributions I remember from my chat and community, have been sharing my personal information like it’s a trophy to be proud of, when in reality it has greatly impacted my mental wellbeing.”
She also shared the following message on Twitter proper.
It's hard to process everything.
It's even harder to accept the fact that the people behind this are Coleknights that I know and interact with in chat, Twitter posts, community games, and many more.I can't count how many times I cried during the investigation reading receipts.

If Isla Coleman does graduate, she will join a number of other Production Kawaii VTubers who left the company in 2023. All five Enchantasia members retired this year.
