Kirara Will be New Genshin Impact Cat Girl

Yet another cat girl will be running around Teyvat soon, as HoYoVerse revealed the splash art for Kirara. She’ll be a Dendo character, though it’s unclear at this point how rare she will be and what weapon she will use. Kirara will be an Inazuman character, as she is a courier for Komaniya Express.

Kirara’s Constellation is Arcella, and she is a Gold Level Courier of the Komaniya Express. So far, she is the only character with ties to the Komaniya Express. No one mentioned it in their voice lines either. Unlike the other cat girl Diona in Genshin Impact, Kirara is actually a nekomata. That means she has two tails instead of one. In Japanese folklore, nekomata are cat demons that are created after a domestic cat has grown old and transformed into a yokai.

In terms of when to expect Kirara in Genshin Impact, it’s likely that she’ll be in Version 3.7. This is because HoYoVerse usually reveals the splash art for characters a version before their playable debut. This was what happened with Kaveh and Baizhu, who will appear as new characters in the upcoming Version 3.6.

Genshin Impact is readily available worldwide on the PS4, PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.The latest update, Version 3.6, will go live on April 12, 2023. Kirara will likely debut in Version 3.7 of Genshin Impact, with more information on her kit, character, and voice actors appearing later.
