This is not a drill! This is happening!

They are not the only returning names though. Edgar Wright, director of the movie, had previously been confirmed to be involved, with original creator Bryan Lee O’Malley working on the script, alongside BenDavid Grabinski. The chiptune band Anamanaguchi confirmed their involvement too. They previously composed the soundtrack for Scott Pilgrim vs The World: The Game.
The series is being produced by Science Saru, who previously produced Inu-Oh and Yurei Deco. The studio also worked on two episodes of Star Wars: Visions.
Scott Pilgrim was originally a series of graphic novels about a Toronto slacker and bass player for the garage band Sex Bob-Omb. After meeting a woman named Ramona Flowers, he discovers that he must defeat her seven evil exes in battle in order to date her. The live action movie Scott Pilgrim vs. The World first brought together the anime’s cast in 2010. A video game from Ubisoft, a Streets of Rage style brawler, also released in 2010. It was re-released for PC, PlayStation, Switch, Xbox, Google Stadia and Amazon Luna in 2021.
The Scott Pilgrim anime adaptation is currently in development with no confirmed release date. It will be released via Netflix.
