Jimmy Choo Will Release Sailor Moon Shoes and Bags

To commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Sailor Moon franchise, fashion designer brand Jimmy Choo will release several shoes, bags, and wallets from February 15, 2023. These items draw inspiration from the Inner Senshi. They are Sailors Moon, Mercury, Mars, Jupiter, and Venus. The shoes in particular look like the girlsā€™ footwear when they are in their Sailor Senshi forms.

The Sailor Moon and Venus shoes have rhinestones and crystals on them. Perhaps this is a reference to how Sailor Moon mistook Sailor Venus to be the Moon Princess when the two first met. The rhinestones near the top of Sailor Moonā€™s boots form a crescent moon shape as well. In the actual Sailor Moon, the cut at the top resembles a V, but these ones do not have that.

So far, there is not a lot of information on the Sailor Moon portal from the brand’s website. You can input your e-mail so that you can keep up with updates. As mentioned earlier, some other items that will appear include wallets and bags. The bags look as if they will use the manga panels as the pattern.

The Jimmy Choo Sailor Moon collection will launch on February 15, 2023. Sailor Moon Cosmos will air on June 9, 2023 (Part 1) and June 30, 2023 (Part 2) on Netflix.
