While Eric “Concerned Ape” Barone committed to a Stardew Valley 1.5 mobile update release in 2022, the patch won’t go out this year. The developer took to Twitter to confirmed it is pushed into 2023. The new expected release window is early January 2023. Barone noted that the team needs “1 more week.”
Here is the full statement upcoming people on the progress of the patch. Barone acknowledged that it could probably release now. However, due to quality control concerns, the team is holding back and putting in additional work.
MOBILE: The porting team and I have been working extremely hard this past week on the 1.5 update. We're so close. We could probably release right now. But we need 1 more week to ensure quality. I accept full responsibility for not hitting the end of year target.

The last update suggesting the Stardew Valley 1.5 mobile patch might make the December 2022 release window appeared at the beginning of the month. Barone expressed, as he did back in November 2022, that the team was hard at work and development was on track.
Stardew Valley can be found on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation Vita, Xbox One, PC, and mobile devices. The latest update suggests the Stardew Valley 1.5 mobile update could come to Android and Apple iOS devices the first week of January 2023.
