Ahead of TGA 2022, it was confirmed Final Fantasy XVI Producer Naoki Yoshida would attend. This lead to suspicion news about the game would appear. That turned out to be correct. At the event, the FFXVI release date appeared alongside a new Revenge trailer. People can find it on the PS5 on June 22, 2023.
Here is the TGA 2022 FFXVI release date trailer.
Revenge is a weapon. I sometimes wonder if I am controlling it or if it’s controlling me.

Even before TGA 2022, plenty of FFXVI news came up. For example, we learned the game would be exclusive to the PS5 for six months after launch. Yoshida also confirmed a demo would appear ahead of the game’s debut. Creative Director Kazutoyo Maehiro confirmed people won’t need to hunt for any hidden Eikon summons.
The Final Fantasy XVI release date is June 22, 2023. It will come to the PS5 first. After that exclusivity period expires, people could see it on other platforms. The same happened to FFVII Remake, which featured a PS4 exclusivity arrangement before eventually heading to the PS5 and PC.
