Due to a bug that in Version 1.2.0 of Splatoon 3, Rainmaker Anarchy Battle mode is temporarily unavailable. The bug that caused Rainmaker mode to go temporarily offline can alter a team’s score. Nintendo will announce the return of Rainmaker mode on its official Twitter account.
According to the tweet, the Splatoon 3 team will release an update “soon” in order to resolve the issue. Rainmaker mode is sort of like Capture The Flag, in which players have to carry an ink cannon to a pedestal on the opposite side of the map. In Splatoon 3, you have to touch a checkpoint, which is where the issue began.
The bug in Splatoon 3 is causing a team’s score to turn to “1” as soon as they touch the Rainmaker checkpoint. This is a very good thing in the mode, as this means your cannon is practically on the pedestal. However, teams are getting it without traveling the full distance, giving an unfair advantage in a competitive mode.

Other competitive modes that players can amuse themselves with include Splat Zones, Tower Control, and Clam Blitz. There are also plenty of other things to do in Splatoon 3, such as the normal Turf War mode.
Splatoon 3 is available worldwide for the Nintendo Switch.
