Gamescom 2022’s reveals may still be filtering out to the wider public, but companies are already looking forward to the next big event: The Tokyo Game Show. Koei Tecmo announced its own TGS 2022 lineup and headlined it with Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty. First announced in June and developed by Ninja Gaiden developers Team Ninja, Wo Long will be playable for the first time at the show.
Check out Wo Long‘s first gameplay trailer, uploaded to the company’s official YouTube channel on August 26, 2022.
Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is an action-adventure title set in China. Taking place in a Three Kingdoms-era setting plagued by supernatural threats and demons, the game is inspired by Chinese mythology and martial arts. The game will be playable at the Koei Tecmo TGS 2022 booth, and players who spend some time with it will receive prizes. All who play the demo will receive a special button badge, and those who manage to clear the demo get a t-shirt.

Other Koei Tecmo TGS 2022 games include an as yet unannounced title from Gust, the developers behind the Atelier franchise, and Nobunaga’s Ambition: Hadou, the previously announced mobile strategy game. Players visiting the booth will receive a fan and a hand towel if they take a photo at the display.
Koei Tecmo will be at TGS from September 15 through 18, 2022. Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty is in development for a 2023 release on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
