KOF XV Team Awakened Orochi DLC Adds New Versions of Chris, Shermie, and Yashiro

SNK revealed the next KOF XV DLC. The characters should look familiar! That’s because all three of them are a part of the main roster. The add-ons will feature them in different forms. KOF XV Team Awakened Orochi will bring Orochi Chris, Orochi Shermie, and Orochi Yashiro to the game. The pack has an August 2022 launch window.

The name comes from the fact that all three are among the Four Heavenly Kings of Orochi in the KOF series. (Goenitz is the fourth and isn’t in KOF XV.) With their KOF XV debut, Team Awakened Orochi’s Chris, Shermie, and Yashiro all feature new looks. The teaser trailer only shows them in their new outfits and doesn’t offer any hints as to their new movesets.

As a reminder, there are four confirmed DLC teams for the game so far. Team Garou, with Garou: Mark of the Wolves characters, appeared first. Then there was Team South Town. The final group will be Team 4. Those three characters will show up in Fall 2022.

The King of Fighters XV is available on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X, and PC. The Team Awakened Orochi characters will debut in August 2022.
