Here’s How Splatoon 3 Octoling Enemies Look

People have a chance to see what the Splatoon 3 Octoling enemies look like. Nintendo took to Twitter to share three pictures of the characters in-game. These are the foes that people face during the game’s campaign. These enemies tend to be women with similar outfits and hairstyles. This means that their appearance can vary from the playable Octolings we’ve seen in games like Splatoon 2.

First, here’s a general image showing art of Splatoon 3 Octoling enemies. The outfit is similar to the ones in past entries, though the colors and details are slightly different. While the tentacle hair is fuzzier, it also looks similar. They also seem to still use a Splattershot variant. The glasses/goggles look different, however.

And here are the other two Octoling images. Both of these seem to be in-game screenshots, perhaps taken from cutscenes. Each one focuses on a single Octoling. One of the two offers a closer look at the new “fuzzy” quality of the character’s hair.

This isn’t the first peek at Splatoon 3 enemies. Nintendo showed off some Octarians before. Over six different kinds of opponents all showed up in those screenshots and pieces of art.

Splatoon 3 will come to the Nintendo Switch on September 9, 2022.
