With Mario Strikers: Battle League matches about to begin, Nintendo shared a new overview trailer going over the game’s characters as they use various moves like Hyper Strikes and items. In Mario Strikers: Battle League, players put classic Super Mario characters onto teams of five in the name of earning points. People could use a Team Tackle move to help move their own teammate to a better position. Someone could use a Hyper Strike if they get a Strike Orb, charge it, and use a special attack that can score two points if it gets in the goal. Luigi and Waluigi’s appear in the Mario Strikers: Battle League trailer.

After showing attacks, a few Mario Strikers: Battle League characters are highlighted in the trailer. First, it shows some basic stat screens for Wario, Yoshi, Rosalina, and Mario. Wario’s strength is, well, strength. Yoshi is good at both shooting and passing. Rosalina is best at shooting. Mario is more of an all-rounder. Bowser is strong and goo dat shooting. Peach is one of the faster team members. Donkey Kong is another “strength” type character. However, by changing equipment, stats can be altered.

Mario Strikers: Battle League will come to the Nintendo Switch on June 10, 2022.
