The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin will have Celis Ortesia and Rion Balthazar join its playable character roster. Nihon Falcom confirmed their inclusions with a new update to the game’s official website. Ai Fairouz and Soma Saito will perform as the Japanese voice actors for Celis and Rion, respectively.
Both Celis and Rion are part of the Dominion, a council of knights that leads the Gralsritter Order of the Septian Church. The 27-year-old Celis occupies the fourth Dominion seat, while Rion—who is two years younger—has the eleventh seat. The two are currently working as a pair in Calvard to investigate and collect Artifacts scattered around the Republic.
Celis and Rion will be available as playable characters in Kuro no Kiseki II. The former will fight aggressively with her greatsword, while the latter will focus on hitting critical spots with his rapier. Bergard Zeman, one of the main characters in the prequel, taught both knights in the past. They are also well-acquainted with Van Arkride, who is another of Bergard’s disciples.
Nihon Falcom also published new pages for the antagonistic red Grendel and fairy that appeared in the teaser trailer. Altera is the name of the scarlet fairy that looks similar to Mare. The mysterious coated person used her power to transform into Grendel-Zolga. Altera also shows strong disdain for Mare and Van’s Grendel.
The Legend of Heroes: Kuro no Kiseki II – Crimson Sin will be released for PlayStation 5 and 4 first in Japan in Fall 2022.
