Guilty Gear Strive Anniversary Stream Will Have Season 2 Information

Guilty Gear Strive will have its first anniversary on June 11, 2022. Arc System Works will hold a live stream ahead of the anniversary on May 25, 2022. Key members of the development team will appear at the stream and talk about the game’s past and future. The latter will include talks about the upcoming second season of new content additions.

Arc System Works also opened a new poll that runs in Japanese on May 11-22, 2022. The poll primarily asks players to choose up to three of their favorite characters and songs that appear in Guilty Gear Strive. The character list includes all playable characters up to Testament, as well as key NPCs who appear in the story mode such as Gabriel and April. It also asks when players bought their copy of the game and whether they still play any of the available modes. Arc System Works will announce the poll results during the anniversary stream.

The company had previously posted a teaser for the second season in late March 2022. It will add four more playable characters and cross-play between the PlayStation and PC versions. Series creator Daisuke Ishiwatari will also compose new songs for the title.

Guilty Gear Strive is available on the PlayStation5, PlayStation4, and PCs worldwide, as well as in arcades in Japan. Arc System Works will hold a live stream to celebrate the game’s first anniversary on May 25, 2022, at 20:00 JST (7 AM ET).
