Two new My Hero Academia OVAs will be released in theaters in Japan. One of the OVAs will be baseball-themed, with the characters participating in a baseball league. It will appear in theaters sometime in Summer 2022 after a pre-screening in mid-June. However, details regarding the second of the two new My Hero Academia OVAs have yet to be announced. In December 2021, animation studio Bones announced that My Hero Academia season 6 would appear sometime in Fall 2022. It was announced at Jump Festa 2022 and included a trailer highlighting events that will transpire in the upcoming season. The trailer featured prominent characters such as Endeavor, Eraser Head, and Present Mic.
Previous My Hero Academia films have seen Western releases. This has included the My Hero Academia: World Heroes’ Mission movie, which aired in theaters in both the US and Canada. The film was screened in Japanese and English. However, information regarding overseas releases of these two new OVAs may appear sometime in the future.
The first of the two new My Hero Academia OVAs will release sometime in Summer 2022. The second OVA does not have a release date. My Hero Academia season 6 will release in Fall 2022.
