Triangle Strategy Sales Approach 800,000 Globally After Two Weeks

Square Enix and Producer Tomoya Asano announced that total sales of Triangle Strategy reached nearly 800,000 units worldwide. This figure includes both units shipped and downloaded. The game released exclusively on Nintendo Switch on March 4, 2022, meaning Triangle Strategy reached this figure in only two weeks. Square further revealed that more than 200,000 of these sales came from Japan and Asia. [Thanks, Nintendo Everything.]

To celebrate the sales success, Designer Naoki Ikushima shared a new piece of art for the game, which you can view below. Recently, Nintendo and Square Enix also shared a video capturing the detailed process of how Ikushima creates a piece of Triangle Strategy art.

There is a Triangle Strategy free prologue demo available on the Nintendo Switch eShop. The trial introduces players to its dialogue-heavy world of weighty moral decisions and grid-based tactical battles. Save data from the demo is transferable to the full version of the game, should you choose to purchase it. Additionally, My Nintendo is currently offering a Triangle Strategy alternate box art cover as a redeemable reward for 30 Platinum Points. It will be available as a reward until July 30, 2022.
