Watch – Kicking it off with Winning Eleven Goal X Goal

James over from the Japan Gaming Guide has impeccable timing. I was planning on writing about World Soccer Winning Eleven DS Goal X Goal after playing the demo, but my lack of soccer (football?) knowledge was holding me back. My experience with it was a mix of subpar passes and pressing the A button to slide tackle the other team. I found the trick to the game was really paying attention to the map on the touch screen. Since you can’t see the entire field, it’s the easiest way to identify openings and who to pass to. Perhaps, his video that he sent over (thanks!!) with Goal X Goal (aka Pro Evolution Soccer 2008 in Europe) is a much better representation of how it plays.
