Get a Better Look at Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising Gameplay

Ahead of Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes, there will be a prequel game that involves building a town. Now before its 2022 debut, there’s another look at what to expect. A new IGN preview showed off Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising gameplay. It shows what it’s like to try and build up New Naveah with the playable characters CJ, Garoo, and Isha.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising is an action-RPG, rather than a turn-based one like coming title. CJ is going through a rite of passage as a Scavenger, which brought her to New Naveah. That’s where Isha, the town’s acting mayor, is offering folks a chance to search the town’s Runebarrows for treasure. Coincidentally, Garoo is there looking for treasure as well.

In the Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising gameplay trailer, it begins with the trio looking around town. They look around and stay in an inn, for example. From there, they head outside of town to deal with monsters stirred up by local earthquakes. Along the way, they’ll also use their tools to collect resources.

Eiyuden Chronicle: Rising will come to the Nintendo Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC in Spring 2022. Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes is expected to release in 2023 for the PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC.
