In relation to the multiplayer aspect of Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin, Yasuda stated that, while some items have a higher chance of dropping in multiplayer, there is nothing that can be exclusively obtained through offline or online play. This means that players will be able to obtain any and all items regardless of how they choose to tackle the game.

Additionally, Yasuda said this about the varying degrees of difficulty in Stranger of Paradise:

There may be some people who are apprehensive because this is a full-scale action game. But we have made sure to provide a wide range of difficulties for those who are inexperienced and to those looking for a challenge. We wanted to make this a game that those who have never experienced a Final Fantasy title can still enjoy.

Stranger of Paradise: Final Fantasy Origin will release on March 18, 2022 for the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC via the Epic Games Store.
