Details about the English version of the game are slim at the moment. However, Square Enix confirmed there will be tests held ahead of launch. In Spring 2022, there will be a closed beta. The official English Facebook page is also open. However, that only shows off some art for the game.

You can see the Octopath Traveler: Conquerors of the Continent English version announcement at the 1:15:40 mark of the Japanese 2.0.0 stream below. The card appearing on screen offers an English translation of the announcement.

The game launched in Japan back in October 2020. Since then, the RPG continually hit major milestones. By the end of November 2020, over 10 million people in Japan registered to play it. It’s since been updated with new characters and stories.

Octopath Traveler: Conquerors of the Continent is available on mobile devices in Japan, and the English Champions of the Continent version of the game will appear in North America and Europe in 2022.
