Square Enix offered some details about the sorts of vehicles characters will drive in Chocobo GP. Namely, there will be different variants available. While the example shown’s three models all looked identical visually, each one had a different name and stats.
Each of the three different sorts of rides will be broken down to standard, grip, and speed models. In the Chocobo GP menu for a character’s car, each one is labeled with that designation and a name reflecting the change. So for the white mage Shirma, who is used as the example, she has the Mysidia Rabbit (Standard model), Mysidia Rabbit Type-S (Grip model), and Mysidia Rabbit Type-R (Speed model).
To the left, all the stats are shown. They’re broken down by speed, grip, acceleration, and drift. Regardless of the model, the Mysidia Rabbit used in the example images always has acceleration as its highest stat and grip as its second highest. However, the other stats do change based on the variant chosen.
