Genshin Impact Crossover Characters We Want To See

Genshin Impact crossover characters? They’re possible, we know, since the debut of Horizon’s Aloy. So who would you like to see? Who would be a good fit? Share your ideas with us in the comments.

It’s definitely a shot in the dark, but I’d love to see Fate/Grand Order characters appear in Genshin Impact! Specifically either Cu Chulainn Berserker or the face of the Fate franchise, Saber Artoria. Both IPs are fairly massive in the mobile gaming market, so it could potentially make sense! And the characters would blend in perfectly with Genshin Impact‘s cel-shaded graphics and anime-focused visual design. — Kazuma

genshin impact crossover honkai impact

Personally, I hope miHoYo reaches for the low-hanging fruit this time, by incorporating characters it already owns. I’m talking, of course, about a proper crossover adding Honkai Impact characters to Genshin Impact. Earlier this year, Honkai added everyone’s favorite Prinzessin der Verurteilung, Fischl, to its playable roster. How about bringing one of the Valkyries into the Genshin fray?

Heck, some Honkai characters would likely introduce whole new weapon categories to the game, all things considered. Give me Fu Hua and a fistfighting style! — Josh

tears of themis

There’s always something hilarious to me when fighting or action games incorporate characters who are obviously not meant to fight. For example, Phoenix Wright’s inclusion in Marvel vs Capcom, or the recent Doraemon crossover in Granblue Fantasy! Not only is it kind of funny, but it’s also interesting to see just how they play or act in a genre totally foreign to them.

In that vein, I think it would be kind of fun to see Genshin Impact have a crossover with fellow miHoYo game Tears of Themis. The mental image of these fancy-looking boys dispatching a Slime and then saying some cheesy romantic one-liner will never stop being major serotonin boosts, probably. Also, it would mean Kaji Yuki or Fukuyama Jun in Genshin, and that’s always a big plus. — Stephanie

genshin impact crossover fire emblem lucina

It is going to be a while before this might happen. You know, because there’s no Switch version. But when there is? I want one of the Fire Emblem folks in there. Namely, I would like to see Fire Emblem Awakening‘s Lucina in Genshin Impact. She’s a sword-user, which is an established weapon type. It would mean Parallel Falchion could appear as an exclusive sword for Switch owners.

We already know there are dimension and time shenanigans with her. If they wanted to really do something special, they could include standard and “Masked Marth” outfits for her. I think it’d be fun. — Jenni

xenoblade pyra

I agree with Jenni that the Nintendo Switch launch could very well bring a Genshin Impact crossover with it. Still, though, Nintendo’s been really protective of its characters as of late. So rather than Lucina (or the obvious Link), I think we could see something from a less popular franchise that still has wide appeal to fans of the aesthetic: Pyra.

She has the move set. She has the elemental affinity. She’s suitably anime and would fit into Genshin‘s world. So sure, why not? — Graham
