Kula Diamond Can Use Falling Snowman in KOF XV

We already knew Kula Diamond would return in KOF XV as a Team Krohnen member. Now we know a little more about what she can do. SNK Character Designer Tomohiro Nakata talked about her moveset on Twitter. In particular, her Falling Snowman attack is a callback to past snowmen attacks where one would drop on an enemy.

Here’s Nakata’s full commentary on Kula Diamond in KOF XV. It mentions both her Falling Snowman and Diamond Breath ice-based attacks.

Sorry to keep all the Kula fans waiting! The princess of ice has returned to KOF XV! This time she’s away from K’ and the gang and finds herself joining up with Angel instead. I hope you enjoy their team’s story when it gets released later!

In KOF XV, Kula has a new move called Falling Snowman, where, you guessed it, a snowman falls down from above. The move is pretty nostalgic for some avid fans, as she used to have it in a previous title.

Besides Falling Snowman, Kula’s Diamond Breath is now stronger, and by changing the animation of her Jump A attack, she can now cross-up her opponents. All these new additions mean whoever she fights will be on thin ice!

Kula Diamond isn’t the only KOF XV fighter whose moves Nakata discussed. He also talked about Maxima’s Maxima Charge and Angel’s Unchain Circle.

KOF XV will appear on February 17, 2022 on the PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
