First, here’s Netflix’s confirmation that it will carry part 2 of Komi Can’t Communicate and release season 2.

Here’s a trailer for Komi Can’t Communicate season two. It is all in Japanese. It begins with Komi in front, ready to make the announcement. After she turns the page on the notebook to reveal season 2 is on the way, everyone encourages her to reveal the news. By the end of the segment, she is swarmed by support from friends for her accomplishment.

As indicated by the name, Komi Can’t Communicate follows Shouko Komi, who has trouble talking to people. Hitohito Tadano ends up connecting and communicating with her. Together, the two attempt to help her make 100 friends. The first season’s 12 episodes aired in Japan through December 2021. Those episodes then appeared on Netflix as they would appear. While the first episode follows a traditional format, subsequent episodes are broken down into segments in which Komi meets people and accomplishes goals.

Komi Can’t Communicate season 2 will air in Japan in April 2022. The first season is available via Netflix. Viz Media handles the localization of the manga.
