Square Enix released a new trailer for Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile, and announced pre-registration for the mobile title is now open. In July 2021, it was revealed that a Fullmetal Alchemist mobile title was in development. However, further details regarding the title have not been disclosed until now. Specifically, the new trailer showcases how combat will function in the new mobile title. Additionally, Square Enix revealed that Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile will release sometime in Summer 2022. [Thanks, Famitsu!]
The mobile title will use 3D graphics. However, characters and environments will have a cel-shaded look. The trailer shows characters like Edward and Alphonse Elric, and Roy Mustang using their signature abilities. Additionally, the trailer provides a look into several areas that players will have access to in the mobile title. Major characters like Envy and Gluttony also appear.
You can watch the trailer below.
As mentioned, pre-registration for the mobile title is now open. When certain pre-registration goals are met, Square Enix will distribute rewards to players. This includes in-game currency. Additionally, if 500,000 players pre-register for the title, players will receive an SR Winry at launch.
Fullmetal Alchemist Mobile will release for Android and iOS devices in Summer 2022 in Japan, with pre-registration immediately available for both platforms.
