Genshin Impact Gorou Video Shows How He Works With Geo Allies

Like Itto, Gorou just got his own Genshin Impact Collected Miscellany trailer. This series features Dainsleif, aka Yuri Lowenthal, as he goes through the Geo archer’s moveset.

Being a four-star unit, Gorou’s normal attack caps out at a four-hit combo. If you perform a charged attack with it, it will deal Geo damage. His Inuzaka All-Round Defense Elemental Skill scales depending on how many other Geo characters are around. If there’s only one, everyone in range of his General’s War Banner gets a defense boost. If two are around, your attacks are less likely to be interrupted. If there are three, you get a Geo damage bonus to attacks.

His Elemental Burst also acts like his Elemental Skill. Juuga: Forward Unto Victory creates an AoE space. It adds elemental shards and also deals AoE Geo damage. The more Geo characters are around, the more buffs are provided for characters inside of it.

In addition to being useful to help make Geo allies better, Gorou can help while exploring. His Utility Passive is Seeker of Shinies. This allows him to see Inazuma resources on the mini-map. This can make gathering easier.

Here’s the full Collected Miscellany video for Gorou.

Should someone want to get to know Gorou better in Genshin Impact, that’s rather easy. He comes up a few times in the Chapter 2 Archon Quest. He also has his own Hangout Event, which you can unlock for two keys.

Genshin Impact is available for the PS4, PS5, PC, and mobile devices. A Nintendo Switch version is in the works. The Itto and Gorou banner will appear in Genshin Impact until January 4, 2022.
